Just ordered one of these (assembled and delivered.) Delivery was free and assembly was a reasonable $10 (compared to assembling yet ANOTHER one myself!.) Apparently Ducane was bought by Weber a few years back, and the 4100 series is made with thinner metal for the hood etc. For $350, though it seems lie a nice gasser. I almost went with the Lowes Master Forge for $100 less, and I never use side burners anyway, but the reviews all over were overwhelmingly in favor of the Ducane. Apparently this model is made especially for Lowes and comes in $100 less than those sold by dealers with essentially the same specs.
I am still primarily a Ceramic guy, but my family needs to cook burgers ans fish when I'm away and doesn't like dealing with the Dome. Actually I prefer they keep their hands off my ceramic anyway ...
Anyone else have one of these ? Think an extended warranty is in order ? Comes with 5yr grill / 1 yr burner out of the box.
