keeping / storing smoked salmon

does anyone know if there's a way to keep the "How To Grill" smoked salmon (it was to-die-for by the way - thanks Steven!) for longer than the recommended three to five days?

I think wild king salmon season is over sometime in October, but this would sure make for some outstanding Christmas gifts.

I plan on storing mine using the Food Saver (If it lasts that long!!) . If you don't have one, you can pick it up at Wal Mart along with the vac bags. I've had one for years and I use it at least 3-4 times a week.
