6 Foot Pizza on The Big Heavy

GS, once again I'm speechless. That's probably the biggest pizza I've ever seen - great job!

G.S. - I was just asked by a co-worker....

How much ingredients were used in the making of that pizza? How many peppers, onions, pounds of cheese, etc...?

It wasn't as much as you'd think. When I bought the dough I bought the equivalant of 8 large pies, I used about 4 each 12 ounce cans of sauce, a full sandwich bag each of chopped peppers and onion. A freezer bag of pre cooked loose sausage, approximately 12 ounces each of mushrooms and olives. I probably used 4 pounds of cheese.

You're right, that's not nearly as much as I imagined. We use almost that much on pizza night at our house.

Still it's extreme to see it all together like that.

How about the recipe? Dough, sauce cook temps and time. I would love to try that!
