As far as chicken goes, what is a good dry rub?

Check out Steve's book:

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/de ... 61-5458454

Can't go wrong here and you'll learn a ton. He has applications for just about everything and after mixing some of his recips you'll soon be inventing your own concoctions. :D That's when the fun begins, when you've done it enough to start thinking hmmm...I'll do this and that and have it work out decent. Lots of fun :D

Fletcher most pork rubs go equally well with chicken. I know in Sauces Rubs and Marinades steve lists a recipe with what its main target is then in the margin list other ideas to try it with.
Chicken is especially easy as it picks up flavors easily. Plus since chicken is cheap its easy to experiment and find what suits your tastes.
Good luck.

I just went and got 2 kinds of poultry seasonings along with italian seasoning, mixed them together and then sprinkled the rub on the chicken. I came out perfect.
