Can you get the BBQ University shows on dvd? They're really great and I wouldn't mind having them at home for occasional reference.

This has been a topic of great discussion around here. Sadly the answer is NO.
At least for the time being. We've been assured that they are working on them.
Trust me though, you're not alone!

I had been wondering about this and so I contacted the company that produces the show, Frappe Inc. I was told by someone with the initials of CP that they were compiling a DVD of the highlights from the first 2 seasons and it would be available on the website later this summer. :D

Highlights are fine, but I'd rather have a collection of all the episodes in full. The old Frugal Gourmet series did this for several episodes on VHS. and Jeff Ball's Yardening show put the entire series on VHS as well.

Converting these to DVD would be a snap, so I can't see why Frappe Inc. couldn't do the same for all of Steve's episodes. Maybe a full Season 1 and Season 2 boxset, even, like many TV series are doing now.

I take it that the information is taking a bit more than 2 weeks to get together? :)

Rifter I believe he said it would be about two weeks til the STORE was up and running. He mentions "NEXT FALL" as a target date for the DVD's and by that I'm guessing he meant the Fall of 2005. Hope this helps.

Ah, I took it that it would be in the store, for pre-release/more information. :-)
