Does anyone know why on all of Steven's stuff barbecue is spelled with a "c" and most all other places it's spelled with a "Q"?

There's a lot of debate over the proper spelling. To me, the spelling doesn't matter as long as I get some (BBQ). FYI: However, I looked it up in a 1982 Compact Webster's Dictionary and barbecue is in it but barbeque is not. Maybe the word 'barbecue' is older or more accepted.

I don't really care either. But If barbecue is in the dictionary, that makes Bob a BBC Deputy, which would probably put you in england somewhere.

I'm sure if someone doesn't know exactly how to spell it and they see the abreviation "BBQ" all the time, that's how their going to assume it's spelled. And it just catches on.
