Best BBQ Joint

The absolute best BBQ that I have tried is Whitt's Barbecue in Athens, AL. Hands down, they have the best commercial pulled pork in the southeast. It is almost as good as mine. They make Big Bob Gibson green with envy...or at least he should be. There are some lessons for Chris Lilly to take in Athens. If you haven't been there, it is worth the trip to go to this great example of really good Carolina style pulled pork. They have a vinegar based sauce that really complements the meat, without overpowering it. I don't see how Chris Lilly has won so many tournaments and competitions. He is NOT serving award winning 'cue at Bob Gibson's. Mediocre at it's best. Any thoughts on Whitt's BBQ or Big Bob Gibson?
