Been eating at Blacks for over 50 yrs, gotta be some of the best anywhere.Uncle lived in Lockart and I visited every summeras a kid. Spent HOURS at Blacks eating till they rolled me out the door.
Is Cottens in Kingsville (I think) still going? Haven't eaten there in long time but was very good. Had a helicopter pad and was always full.
How about Harveys in Irving ,still there? tried to get a job there when in High school, owners nephew was a buddy and he came to school with a "Might Sack" he picked up at the restaurant EVERY morn. Had a few ribs, a little brisket and link of sausage in case he "might" get hungry. He had the only car in school that had roaches. Those ribs were good.
