Seeking a good BBQ place near Roaring River NC .

We have several members from NC and the surrounding area that can hopefully be of assistance.

The closest Q joints that I can identify are located in Elkin (which should only be about 15 minutes east of Roaring River). I don't know that all of these joints are still operating, but if you go to "google" and type in: ""Roaring River, NC" barbecue", it should come up with five restaurants that serve Q.
