Favorite Steakhouse?

Best place for steak in my view is Argentina. Toatally different cuts from most of the world . But cooked to perfection and totally delicious. Best place I've had a simple steak is estillo Campo in Buenos Aires.

Providing the link isn't to a porno site, one dealing with an illegal activity, or otherwise fails to meet the same criteria as our forum posting guidelines. We have a number of members, with commercial sites, who actively participate in our forums. As long as they don't use the forums to promote their business activity all is well.

In the Triangle area of North Carolina (Raleigh, Durham, & Research Triagle Park / Chapel Hill) the best LOCAL steakhouse is "The Angus Barn". This establishment rivals the best CHAIN steakhouse in the area (in Cary) "Ruth's Chris".

There are a few other local steakhouses that are pretty decent, but they come in distantly behind those listed above. In particular: The Peddler Steakhouse in Raleigh, The Farmhouse between Chapel Hill and Hillsborough, and The Occoneechee Steakhouse in Hillsborough.

Here in Michigan the best Steak House so far is Lucky's Steak House 1 in Imlay City & 1 in Davison

WOW!!! I just had the most tender steak in my life! My wife and I ate at "Don Shula's Steakhouse" in Philadelphia. I had the filet mignon and she had "the cowboy" which is a bone-in ribeye, and is advertised as the most flavorful steak that they have. I don't know why they had steak knives on the table, as both of our steaks were so tender that you really didn't need a knife at all!!!

I've had Ruth's Chris steaks and several other top-line steak house steaks around the country, but never one as tender as this filet was at Shula's!

I think the jury is still out for me, but I think the best steak I ever had at a restaurant was at a Ruth'sChris Steakhouse in Metairie, Louisiana. My father-in law always gets these HUGE fillets at a butcher shop in Houma, LA and that is always Christmas dinner when we visit.

I can also give high scores to Texas Land and Cattle Company in Austin, TX. They're opening one in my town soon and I can't wait.

Of course, any time we want a good steak at home, we go to a little family-owned butcher shop nearby and bring home some 1" thick ribeyes for the grill.

I've eaten at Texas Land and Cattle Company once and the food was pretty good. Our waitress, however, spent way too much time sitting at her best friend's table.

Okay, it's not a steakhouse per se, but the best strip steak (my personal favorite cut) that I've ever had in my entire life was at the W hotel in Honolulu. Man alive, this steak was absolutely perfect. I think they paired it with a bordelaise sauce. It was cooked perfectly, juicy... I'm in heaven just thinking about it. The veggies and garlic mashers that came with it were yet again perfectly cooked. The whole meal was perfectly executed... as it should be, seeing that it was the most expensive meal that I've ever had in a restaurant.

It also helped that the restaurant is outside on the beach and we were there at sunset
