The Texan in Algonquin

In Chicago and want good Q? Gotta head west, my man! West to Algonquin to a little shack called THE TEXAN where one can get ribs, brisket, pork, chicken... they even have Texas beer there!

It's north on Highway 31, about 1block north of Algonquin road on the east side.

Been there - it's OK, but definitely not some of the Q joints that I've been to in Texas.
Better place is in not sure if it's Justice or Bridgeview - just north of 95th St. on Roberts Rd. - place called The Pit - they know how to Q some meat!
