Vegas?

I am heading to Las Vegas January 14th. Any imput on where I should go for some great Q.

I don't know about Q but I've always enjoyed Sir Galahad's Prime Rib House inThe Excalibur. Or The Mesa Grill (Bobby Flay's Place) in Caeser's.
I know Emeril has a few places out there too.
I love Vegas, have a great time.

Thanks I plan on having a good time. It is just a shame that my job takes me to Vegas every year. I am definately going to have to try Bobby Flay's Place.

you should give "memphis championship bbq" a try. there are a couple of locations and you can find them in the phone book. i used to live in vegas and i found it to be the best and the most consistent. too bad they don't have a good texas style bbq joint but memphis will suffice. try the ribs or the pulled pork sandwich, either one is fantastic. it makes my mouth water thinking about them. have fun and may all your pots be big and all your cards live.

try Famous Daves or memphis Championship BBQ. Both are well worth going to. Daves has the better ribs I think and Memphis has the better brisket. Either way you are going to have some good barbecue.

Hope you're not too disappointed with this forum as there's not much of a gamble getting good BBQ and good advice here. You could say the odd's are in your favor at Barbecue-U.

I went to emiril's in vegas. Wasn't very impressed, They only offer 3 dishes that is not seafood. one pork, one chicken, and one beef dish. i had the roast chicken. It was dry and VERY salty. May have just been a bad night for that paticular cook. I am not sure. Also we had to ask for a different table because they had put us next to kitchen door. I dont like to have to keep ducking trays while trying to eat. Service was also very slow.
Later in the week we went through caesar's palace and stopped at bobby flay's and looked at the menu. I really wished we had made reservations there instead. Looks to me like worst thing at that restaurant is having to decide on what dish to get. It all sounded fantastic. Needless to say we will be eating there next trip.

I live in vegas and have yet to find good bbq, so if you find somewhere let me know! Honestly about the best place I've ever found is called Buckingham Palace i think? My wife took me there once and it was good. There's another palce thaq wasn't bad called Red Apple Grill. Personally I'd stay away from MCB, I've never cared for their food. It's always been served cold to me

For the best cheap BBQ you ever had, go to Ellis Island Casino and Brewery on Koval St. For under $10, you get a big plate of babybacks and chicken plus garlic bread, beans and fries. Or for $7, you can get a steak dinner, and it's the best cheap steak dinner you'll ever have. Not to mention they have a brewery on their premises and brew their own wheat, stout, and light ales for $1 per pint! This is a little off the beaten path, a few blocks from the strip east of the Flamingo, but well worth the effort. A lot of locals go here.
