Fogo de Chao to open in D.C.

Finally .. Houston has so far been my closest location. A three-hour drive to Washington D.C. would be worth it as long as I don't get seated next to Rick Santorum or something ...

now that santorum is gone, I don't have to worry about that, but Steve King on the other hand....

Will be in DC in Late Feb. Will have to make a pilgrimage.

I ate at a place like this in Venezuela about 12 years ago. It was not as elegant, and I bet a whole lot more authentic. Open air sitting next to the fire pit and they cut the meat from the pit. Meat and ice cold beer.
