For ribs or chicken, E.G. Nick’s is the place to go.
They’re the best joint for miles, and I want the world to know.
Walking into the place you’ll notice a nice décor--
Barbecue’s not just for the backyard anymore.
You’ll start with the best breadsticks of anyplace in town,
And your choice from the bar to wash it all down.
They’ll bring you a plate of BBQ stacked high,
So I hope your stomach’s as big as your eye.
The succulent meat falls right off the bone,
With a flavor so good you’ll wish you could call it your own.
You won't be able to get enough of this taste that lingers,
You'll love it so much, you'll lick your waiter's fingers!
So if you visit Detroit, make sure to dine at a great pick,
With compliments to the chef, I suggest E.G. Nick’s.

This is interesting... I used to work in West Bloomfield awhile ago. Memphis Smoke tried to do BBQ in West Bloomfield and they got just about ran out of town. It's hard to make a business selling pork in a community that is half jewish.

I hope this goes over better then Memphis Smoke. I do still love coming over to Detroit and eating at the Memphis Smoke in Royal Oak. Some of the best brisket I've ever had.
