Good BBQ in the middle of the Mojave!

What's your favorite place (aside from your backyard) to eat BBQ?

Being out in the middle of the Mojave Desert at the Army's National Training Center (we're talking 35 miles from I-15 in the middle of the desert), its hard to find good BBQ unless you do it yourself (which I do quite a bit of).

But today I smelled the heavenly smell of mesquite wafting from the Post Exchange/ Commisary are. Upon investigation I found a mobile BBQ Catering company called "All Seasons BBQ". Being a very picky BBQ eater, I was impressed with their extremely flavorful brisket sandwich! Everything was made fresh and the brisket was tender, had a nice smoke ring on the edges and just tasted darn good.

My hats off to these guys. I think they cater out of LA.

BBQRanger, adding my welcome, too! Glad you've joined us.

Isn't it always the best... that is when a good meal turns up in the most unexpected place? Sounds like you had a great sandwich.

Thanks!

I have been a big fan of Steven's products for the last two years.

Its good that there is a website and a board to feed our love of grilling.

Looking forward to many free-moments here!
