Best BBQ in Lafayette, Indiana ?

I'll be in Lafayette, Indiana this weekend. After I get my pork tenderloin sandwich fix, I may be wanting some BBQ. Any recommendations?

good question. I lived there for a few years, but to be honest I can't think of any TRUE Q places in the area. the closest I can think of is one that is in kokomo, but that is several HOURS out of your way

Well I did a bit of searching and found the
South Stree Smokehouse and it looks very promising and less than two miles from the hotel. It also serves pork tenderlion sandwiches so, with any luck, we'll be able to satisfy our food cravings at one spot. (We may still need to go the Local Bar - yes, that's the name - for tenderlion sandwiches to compare with the Smokehouse).
