Lemme tell ya, you don't normally think of great, and I mean, great, BBQ coming from the Pacific Northwest but Cambells will match any other place in the nation. I recently took a smoke aficionado to Cambells who had never had the pleasure of the experience. We strolled in and took our place at one of the small tables by the windows. He looked at the menu and then at me and with a broad smile and remarked, "I like a simple menu. Meat!". His post meal expression of satisfaction while licking his fingers said it all. Cambell's not only has the best beef brisket, ribs, shoulder, on earth but their sides are excellent; collard greens, coleslaw, fantastic cornbread, and their deserts rival any shishi uptown resturaunt. Portions are ample and reletivly inexpensive. They sell their secrets in the form of rub and sauces to share with the masses. Like many other joints, they have mastered BBQ, but Cmpbell's sucess is wrapped up in the love of the craft, simply put, BBQ.
