I can tell you that the best BQ I have eaten north of Mason Dixon, and I have eaten BQ from the Northern Atlantic coast to the Pacific coast and from Canada to Mexico, is at Goodie Coles BQ on Lincoln Street in Exeter, NH about 40 miles east. Try it, it's worth the drive.

Goody Coles in Exeter is great! I eat there atleast once a week. Also there is a place in Dover...I forget the name now, but it is right down town.
Come a little south to Boston theres a few here...Blue Ribbon, Red Bones, Jakes Boss...theres a good one in Jamaica Plain too but I can't remember the name right now...
Smokey Bones is OK.... but the best in New England (IMHO) is Firefly's in Marlboro and Framingham. The guy who runs the place (and is the head BBQ chef) is always out and about and really easy to talk to.
One place I would suggest to you is KC's Rib Shack on Second street in Manchester. Guaranteed worth the ride up from Nashua. It's not the fanciest place in Manchester but it beats anything I've tried in the Manchester area. Check it out. http://www.ribshack.net/

I'll have to say that Curtis' is worth the trip. Some of my buddies and I went for a motorcycle ride into VT and looked up Curtis' place. The ribs were awesome and those that had the chicken loved it as well. The website doesn't do Curtis' any justice, you have to see it for yourself.
