i liked my bbq tour of kcmo. they are all first rate, and for a purist kc is the right at the top of bbq heaven. arthur bryant's had the best ribs, the smokehouse in martin city had the best burn ends, but i have to give my overall choice to ollie gates. gates and sons has the best sauce i have ever tasted. i mail order it off his web page constantly. try gates and see if you agree. it's the top of the heep in kcmo.
