Joe Allen's Pit Barbeque

Joe Allen's Pit Barbeque in Abilene, TX is by far the best I have ever had. I have tried tons of BBQ, but the meat (which comes from his own cattle), the sauce, and the sides make his place better than any. If you are not in the mood for BBQ, his steaks are incredible as well.

Actually, Joe Allen's is second best BBQ in Abilene. All the locals will tell you mine is clearly better. They do rib-eyes well though.

I grew up in Abilene and Joe Allen's is very good. Although I have not eaten there in years - Turnerhills was some darn fine eating as well......

Is my favorite in Abilene. Joe Allen's is better for steaks than BBQ.
