The brisket at Stubbs is smoked with Post Oak, according to the waiter with whom I spoke. It was a little heavy for my taste, but it wasn't terrible.
The brisket definitely had a great smoke ring... But it was falling apart and a tad dry... Their sauce was good though and it helped with the dry factor.
Hopefully I'll get to try out Franklins tomorrow. And sorry for the big pix....using my phone this week.
