Welcome, Lowandslo! I take it Perry Foster's has KC-style barbecue?

Not sure if it would be defined exactly as KC style, but it was smoked to perfection and served with sauce on the side. The atmosphere is basic, no alcohol. soda's and styrofoam cups, sometimes lemonade, paper plates, good potato salad. Pictures on the wall show celebs eating there: Derrick Thomas, famous KC Chief and Air Force Thunderbird pilots from nearby Air Base and others. My favorite order is the Babecue beef sandwich. Served on a 5 inch bun, sauce and pickles on the side. The beef piled on about 2 inches thick, if memory serves me right?! Great food!
