What: Best Slo-Smoked Baby Back Ribs, Pulled Pork, Beef Brisket, Chicken.
Why: Connecticut is not exactly known for good barbecue, but we have
a hidden Gem, The Cookhouse. They also have wonderful sides, like
Vidalia Mashed Potatoes, Miss Darlene's Baked Beans, Awesome Mac
and Cheese, Country Greens, Coleslaw....etc. All this in a wonderful
Rustic Barn setting. I highly recommend The Cookhouse.

if your favorite bbq joint severs mashed potatoes, mac and chees and greens you've got a problem. normal bbq joints don't offer any of that stuff. this doesn't sound like any bbq menu i've ever seen

Its not that its not good BBQ its just that in order to bring a crowd in, up here in the north, they need to offer stuff like MAC and Cheese to people who are used to it and then they will try the good BBQ.
