Art's (Farmersville IL)

The "restaurant" part of Art's Restaurant & Motel along I-55 in Farmersville, Illinois has been reopened as a barbecue restaurant. I hope to try it when I'm down that way in a couple of months but thought I'd mention it in case anyone else happens to be passing by, and it also happens to be a US-66 historical landmark.

A few years ago I was doing a little research on Art's and found that his original barbecue recipe called for boiled pork butt...

I'll have to look that place up on the map. I've spent my fair share of time on 55 and I can't recall passing by there.
