The Dr. of BBQ

No, not "Dr. BBQ" Ray Lampe but the guy who runs a barbecue trailer in Springfield, Illinois. He's located in the little lot on the south side of E. Stanford where 6th St. splits into 5th and 6th, and while traveling over the weekend I had a chance to stop in and try the back ribs. They were very good but since I'm typically in Springfield only once a year it'll probably be next Thanksgiving before I get a chance to go back. And since his location's not the easiest to get to it's worth knowing that u-turns are legal there.

He also has hot dogs and other grilled items, but I think I'd make a point of trying all the barbecue first.
