What: The family style platters.
Why: As you pull up to the restaurant the aroma of the meat cooking literally pulls you in the door. Our waitress recommended the family style platters to us. What you get is unbelievable, piles of pork, beef, and chicken. Plus the side orders which included some greens that made me think of my grandma when she cooked them for me as a small child. There was plenty of left overs to take home. Even though we thought we couldn't eat another bite, out came the peach cobbler. We shared this warm wonderful treat amongst the four of us. Great food and warm friendly waitresses.

I agree with Donna that Campbell's is one of the better BBQ's in Oregon. We also have Clay's and Yam Yam's to round out the selection for top BBQ in Portland.
Now they don't compete with what I've had down in Texas, but for a true Northwest BBQ flavor that no one else can compete with - get the BBQ Salmon sandwich from Clay's.
That is Northwest BBQ, well and my back yard but I'm not taking requests just yet...
