Jack's in Nashville

been to nashville a few times over the past few years...every time, i've made a trip to jacks downtown and it is phenominal....

well there is another location that is out of town off of I24.

we were staying at the opryland hotel and resort this trip and the one out of town was easier to get to....well we ate at the 1 in downtown the first night....a few days later we ventured out to the one on trinity lane....

it was so much better than downtown....they have a bigger smoker here and they also start the meat earlier there....

so if you have the option, the Jacks on Trinity is better than the Jacks on Broadway even though they are technically the same place...

When were you there???

We ate there Wed. the 17th and they were out of beans.

Everything else was OK but the help seemed out of sorts
with each other. Maybe they were new, maybe they didn't care.

Food was fine.

My biggest regret was not stopping at Carl's Perfect Pig while wandering
West of town. I passed it and it was busy (should have been a sign)
Only to find out later it's the real go to place. Featured on FoodTV as well!

Next trip.

perfect pig is good to. i prefer jacks though

which one did you go to?....

yeah the help seems kind of off....there was a young lady who was really nice though....the guys who cut up the meat just kind of grunted at me...
