The wife and I were visiting friends in McFerson over the week of the 4th and they had never eaten there. A bunch of folks had recommended the place, so we went, in between visits to the Salt mines and the Cosmosphere. Well, the ribs were out of this world. I've smoked ribs twice since I got back trying to nail the rub.
Pulled pork, pulled turkey, texas toothpicks, all great. The sides were all up to par, but the cornbread was outstanding, served with butter and honey on the side, in case you like it sweet.
The best part was the selection of sauces. The whole bar is lined with gallon jugs and squeeze bottles from sweet at one end to hot and spicey at the other. I'd say 20-30 to pour or mix to taste. I mixed up a killer mix, but still ate most of my ribs dry.
Good beer selection, as well. Heck, we went back for dinner two days later.
