Woody's Bar-B-Que

The best barbecue restaurant is Woody's Bar-B-Que in Florida. The location is 5864 Bee Ridge Road, Sarasota, FL (941) 378-9874. The barbecue pork is out of this world. The restaurant has a casual feel and the waitresses are always there with quick service.

Woodie's is generelly pretty good. An old buddy of mine worked at the now closed Woodie's in Tallahassee so when we would go there we would get the "employee discount". Hay, maybe that's why the're now closed. Sheeeh! The only Woodie's that I've been to in recent times is the one in Maclenny, Florida, off of I-10 near Jacksonville. Consistantly good and priced right! Go there, you won't be sorry.

I find Woody's to be only slightly superior to Sonny's. Blech.

I agree, there really are a lot better choices down here than those two.
