Little Pig - Myrtle Beach, SC

Ate there this past week. It was a little different than I was use too. It was close to Lexington Style, but you had a choice of what sauce they mixed in with the meat. They had a Hot Sauce, a Vinegar/Ketchup based sauce and a Mustard pase sauce. The meat had a good ring and smoke flavor and their beans and 'tater salad was good as well. We got there about 11:!5 and by noon there wasn't an empty seat in the house.

Make that stop every year on the annual golf pilgramage. Another good spot (non BBQ) is Pat and Mike's in North Myrtle Beach.

Unfortunately, Little Pigs is the only place that I've found in the Myrtle Beach area. I'd love to try others if anyone knows of any.

I too enjoyed Little Pigs, although I was a bit surprised when I got my Q and it had a red sauce spooned over the middle of it. I'm used to getting it "pre-mixed" with the sauce already in it.

Pretty good Q all-in-all, but the area definitely needs a Q joint that serves good quality "Eastern NC" BBQ!
