New Year’s Resolution

Happy New Year, everyone! What’s your resolution. Mine is to master the newest piece of gear in my grill collection: a Chicago Pizza Oven wood burning oven.

Here I’m firing it up for the first time. Three small fires to season the firebrick, before building the first proper fire.

The first dish in the oven? Wood fire roasted artichokes with garlic and Myer lemons.
