
How’d you spend your 4th of July?
Steven spent his in New York City getting ready for an appearance on the Today Show.
Surveys show that most people tend to cook the same 3 or 4 dishes over and over again on the grill. (Not that this is the case for any on our Barbecue Board!) Steven’s mission was to help folks push the envelope and turn viewers on to some new dishes for grilling: namely planked salmon and cinnamon grilled peaches. (The recipes are on pages 456 and 719 in BBQ USA.) If you haven’t yet tried planked salmon (or planked fish of any sort), check out our latest newsletter, and if you haven’t tried cinnamon grilled peaches yet, make a beeline for your local farm stand. Peaches are in season now, but they won’t be much longer.
