From BBQ U to BBQ scholarship.
In March, 2004, your faithful grill master received a great honor—The Hospitality School at Florida International University in Miami created a Steven Raichlen Scholarship for Culinary Excellence. Each year, four students will receive a stipend to further their culinary carriers. Steven is deeply honored and thanks FIU from the bottom of his heart. So crack those books, kids, and study hard! May one day, you can be a BBQ scholar, too!
